It’s the culmination of 20 years of personal and professional experience in the health and fitness industry. As a physician, athlete, and certified strength & conditioning specialist, staying fit and being healthy were always important to me.
But when my father suffered a stroke, I took on a new role as a caregiver while trying to maintain my work responsibilities. The stress and exhaustion just overwhelmed me. I fell into a depression of sorts – a textbook case of “Caregiver Syndrome.” I stopped working out. I sought comfort in calorie-laden foods. I simply lost myself.
So, I know. I truly understand. I have experienced the dismay of looking in the mirror and wondering, “How did I let this happen?” But I realized that when you want to be able to care for others, you MUST take care of yourself. I made the decision to be good to myself. I decided to LOVE myself, so that I could EFFECTIVELY show my love for my father and give him the care he deserves.

Q: WILL THIS PROGRAM BE SPECIFIC TO MY NEEDS?
A: This is a group coaching program. But because I know that any fitness program must be able to accommodate individual needs if it is to be successful, I have included teachings on how to tailor the program to your specific situation. I have also included a total of 8 LIVE sessions with me to get your concerns personally addressed.
Q: WOULDN'T I BE BETTER OFF HIRING A PERSONAL TRAINER TO GIVE ME IN PERSON TRAINING SESSIONS?
A: This program is more cost-effective than hiring a personal trainer. It is comprehensive, covering all aspects of your fitness journey: diet, exercise, mindset, sleep, time management, stress management. You can communicate with me regularly as well as get critiques of your exercise form through video. You also get LIVE coaching calls with me, too!
Q: DO I NEED A GYM MEMBERSHIP?
A: No. The workout program details exercises that can be done at home with no special equipment required.
Q: HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
A: To start off, you'll receive a workout plan and meal plan. If you want to get started right away, and follow these plans to the letter from the get-go, that's completely your choice. Or you may choose to follow along as I guide you, step-by-step, day-by-day, in incorporating a fit lifestyle into your schedule in a way that doesn't overwhelm you over the course 8-week program. And yes, you can implement this program in just 25 minutes a day.
Every week, we'll get together on a coaching call and I'll present a short lesson to you. This also gives you a chance to get your questions asked. (If you can't make it to the LIVE coaching call, a video replay will be stored in the online library for you.)
The private Facebook group gives you accountability and support throughout the DISCOVER YOUR ZEN program. This resource is vital to your success.
Q: WHAT KIND OF DIET IS THE MEAL PLAN?
A: The meal plan you are provided in the beginning is gluten-free and dairy-free. There is a choice of a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian plan.
Q: DO I HAVE TO DIET THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS DURING THIS PROGRAM?
A: You never HAVE to do anything during this program. You always have a choice. During the program, I'll provide advice on how to minimize weight gain or any other fitness setbacks during the holiday season. Holidays can be stressful enough without the added stress of fearing disapproval from your coach. So you won't get that from me.
